You always have a choice

  • We all have plenty of things to manage in our day-to-day lives, and we want to be on top of all of them – to be successful, have great relationships, and everything else. But there always be things outside our control.

  • We need to focus only on things in our control and understand and accept what’s not under our control. Our biggest strength is that we have power over our minds. Look at your own choices because that’s what you can change and control. We always have a choice. You have a choice in what you think, say, and do. You can maintain your diet, your work ethic, and your mindset. It’s your choice to wake up early in the morning or not, to work out or not. So we need to take ownership of whatever goes on in our lives. That’s the beginning of any change.

  • Don’t fight an unwinnable battle with your past and things outside your control. You can’t change your past, and you can’t change what others do and think. What you can change is your attitude, response, and the choices you make.

But that’s just my take. Comment and share yours.
