• Does it happen to you that you had a minor altercation, but you keep thinking about it? And kept repeating the same thoughts without any new insights and hurting yourself?

  • Has it happened to you that you had a nightmare, and that dream made you feel unhappy in real life?

  • Reality is not always bad, but our imaginations of what could go wrong make us feel unsettled. So, wake up right now instead of creating a nightmare. Being upset and mad while awake is like continuing a distressing dream.

  • Sometimes we imagine things that aren’t there and play them out differently in our heads. We think of how things could have been and how they could have turned out different.

  • We need to clear our minds and control our reactions because our reactions have real consequences. We need to remind ourselves that these events can never be the same because they pertain to specific events that have already occurred in the past.

  • Be aware when you get lost in your daydreams and think they are real. Contemplate if you have any issues that remain unresolved? Or if you’re unknowingly seeking any suffering in real life? Your nightmare isn’t your reality, so there’s no need to imagine making a blunder out of any future situation. There’s no need to overthink!

But that’s just my take. Comment and share yours.
