Be in Control

  • We don’t let anyone else boss us around, but we allow our emotions to rule all over us. We get lazy and forget why we started any out-of-comfort-zone side-hustle. We lose control, get frustrated, and lose our temper. Our emotions get the best of us.

  • Remember that you don’t have to go to that party you don’t want to. You don’t have to eat that junk that’ll guilt you later. Don’t let group thinking to pressure you to behave in a certain way and do things you don’t want to. You’re in control.

  • Control yourself and let your responses flow more naturally. Develop a growth mindset and when times are tough, see the BIG picture. Remember your mood boosters, and don’t let your one bad experience ruin your entire day. Instead, hang out with those friends who motivate you or lighten your mood.

But that’s just my take. Comment and share yours.
