We always have a choice

  • It’s your choice how you want to spend your time. Whether you wish to produce or consume information is your choice. Whether you care more about learning new skills or binge-watch for hours is your choice.

  • Asking and answering deep questions about yourself can help you understand the choices you’ve been making. What skills are you trying to learn? What do you watch on TV? What do you buy? What do you read? What do you write on social media? We are all a reflection of the choices we’ve made. So, if you need different results, make other choices.

  • Only you can be the cause of your irritation. Even getting irritated by something or frustrated by someone is also your choice. Accepting things around you and having low expectations is also a choice. But, what’s important is to take ownership of your decisions as there will be consequences – whether you tackle them or run away from them.

  • Sometimes, life doesn’t give an option before it goes south, but it’ll still always be your choice to make a plan and get back up. Not doing anything about your life to make it right is your choice.

But that’s just my take. Comment and share yours.
