Achieve a deeper understanding

• We’re in this world where the internet is changing our minds, and all we need is a google search to get the answer. We don’t even use our creative side that much and get distracted constantly by notifications from our social media apps.

• Sometimes we only identify, list, or describe our knowledge, and we do not push for deep learning. Deep understanding is when we compare, analyze, relate, apply, criticize and reflect on our work. That’s how we get the most clarity. We can hardly comprehend anything just by passively reading about them, so we need to use and do the thing that we’re trying to learn. Discuss and debate it with your peers and dare to be vulnerable and say what you want.

• Find new ways to get a deeper understanding, read a book, listen to a podcast, and watch some videos about your subject. Write about what you learned, add your own thoughts , and teach it to others once you have a deeper understanding.
