Our ego is the Enemy

-
What do you do when you face a problem? Do you solve it? But, what if you lie to yourself. Would you be able to solve that problem? You won’t even know the real reason for a problem if you deceive yourself. And, if you don’t see the real problem, how will you find the right solution?

We collect and accept data that support what we want to believe and thus lie to ourselves all day. We think we are better looking, more intelligent, and more deserving than others. And with time, we become dependent on others’ validation.
-
We run after social media likes and followers and forget that there’s beauty in imperfections. Our flaws only justify that we’re human beings. Tell me, what’s the point of your perfection anyway? What will you do with it? On the other hand, our imperfections allow us to look forward to our next goal ; to learn, experiment, and discover something new every day.

So, stay in touch with your reality because not knowing and not accepting your true self only causes turmoil inside. Never let your ego ruin your real-self of you. Align “who you think you are,” “who you think you should be,” with “who you really are.” Keep yourself away from your superego, and don’t let it get to your head. It can be real off-putting and an annoying personality trait. Your ego is your Enemy.
But that’s just my take. Comment and share yours.
