Philosophy is in Everything

Everything you do from the moment you wake up until the moment you go back to sleep involves philosophy. Even tweets and replies to comments online are derived from philosophy. Otherwise, how would you know if what you said made sense? If it was rational? Would it even be necessary to say it?

Philosophy came from ordinary events and originated in the minds of thoughtful people over millennia. It isn’t strictly an academic discipline; it isn’t something that must be obtained by a graduate degree. A philosopher seeks to reveal truths about himself, the world he lives in, and his relationship to the world.

To have a meaningful life, you need to critically think about what you are doing and why. You need to use your brain to reason, apply logic, and form arguments that make sense. But to do that, reading these articles is not sufficient.

You can only truly understand life by going out and experiencing it, by asking questions about it and encountering its ups and downs for yourself. Only when you act according to your reasoned choice you will know whether you learned anything from philosophy or not.
