Strengthen your mind

-
To train our minds, we need to ignore impulsivity, resist desires and temptation, and use our judgment to see things clearly and with proper reasoning. We all want something we don’t have or can’t have. But, the stronger our desires, the stronger our self-control should be to overcome them. If you can’t control your cravings, start with limiting your temptation exposure. Don’t keep that ice cream tub if you can’t stop yourself from eating it.
-
Your desires and judgment decide how you act, and the way you interpret things will determine what you desire. So, balance your emotions with logic and think about what motivates you? Is it to make something new, lead a team, complete projects and deadlines?
-
Do give yourself the same advice you’d give to a trusted friend. Understand that some things can never be in your control. So, be honest with yourself and with what you feel. Consider all points of view and then make the best decision instead of ensuring that your viewpoint wins. Accept your mistakes, use your instinct, and always anticipate the outcome of your choices before you act. STOP! and THINK!
But that’s just my take. Comment and share yours.
