The present is all we got

The present is all we got

  • We, humans, love making plans. We make plans all day, where to go, where to eat, when to work, and bazillion other things. But on the flip side, it gets super dreadful when things don’t go as we planned them.

  • We get scared as to what will happen to us in the future. Whether we’ll be successful or not? Whether we’ll find love or not? But why worry about things that might not even happen?  Excessive worrying about the future is useless and can only help ruin the present.

  • Your past and your future are only in our heads, and they only exist if you let them live in the present. Instead, focus on the things that are happening right now. What you can or can’t do with your life is all happening right now. So, make ‘NOW’ the primary focus of your life.

  • The present is all you have, and it will be enough if you fully live it. So, enjoy and be grateful for the simple pleasures of this very moment. Your future will take care of itself if you take care of yourself in the present.

But that’s just my take. Comment and share yours.
