You don't own anything

  • We own nothing when we are born, and we own nothing when we leave. We borrowed it from our forefathers, and when our time comes, we return and leave them for the next generation. There’s no other option because this planet we live on will outlive all of us.

  • How can you even own things that fate or bad luck can take away from you in a second? Your status, health, and your relationships can all fall apart in an instance. In a way, it all makes sense. If you cannot do without something you own, then you don’t really own it. It owns you. Maybe you’re giving away your freedom and flexibility for something materialistic or for a job or a relationship you don’t like. You know better.

  • Terrible things can happen to you too. Don’t be ignorant about it. Bad luck or death can take everything away from you. Sad and brutal as it sounds, but we don’t own anything. All we own is our lives and our choices, and that too for not too long.

But that’s just my take. Comment and share yours
