With all the advances in technology these days, it seems like everyone is always on the go, working extra jobs, or starting their own businesses.

This non-stop, always-hustling way of life has become pretty common.

But even though this busy, always-on-the-go lifestyle can seem exciting, don’t discount the good old 9-to-5 job. 

Let’s talk about why the usual full-time job still deserves a thumbs-up, especially when you think about the benefits it has for our mental well-being.

Psychologically, we are all creatures of habit.

3. The Need for Belonging

In a 9-to-5 job, you’re part of a team, a larger entity. 

Regular interaction with colleagues, even if virtually, can fulfill our innate desire for social connection.

While the flexibility and potentially high rewards of hustle culture can be enticing, the psychological benefits of a 9-to-5 job should not be dismissed lightly.

The “best” decision is the one that brings you satisfaction, stability, and joy.
