Accepting counterfeits

-
If a stranger hands you a $100 bill for change, would you just accept it, or would you check if it’s fake or not? I bet you would check more than once. We put a lot of effort into making sure the money is real. But, in contrast, we accept potentially life-changing thoughts or assumptions without so much as a doubt.

In life, some things are told to us, others that are taught, and some things we witness. Put everything you’ve learned to the test so there’s no room for mistakes and being wrong and so that you’re not lied to or get tricked. Question all things - externally and internally and be more skeptical about ideas and prejudices that prevail in our society.
-
Don’t let your emotions and judgments cause you to react and make an opinion right away. Instead, give things some time and think about them, then act only when you have checked and reviewed everything. Just because a lot of people believe in something doesn’t make it right.

Learn to see through things, through your emotions, and through the propaganda, and see the absolute truth. We need to discern if what we are seeing is real or not or just an optical illusion. Ask yourself if you are biased in any way? And if you’re being rational here?
But that’s just my take. Comment and share yours.
