Anger is Toxic

  • Think of the significant changes brought to this world because someone was angry. Think of the various peaceful protestors who brought change and think of the dictators who were mad at other countries. Of course, they all were steamed up, but they chose differently.

  • We thrive on anger. We all know it is a powerful emotion that can give us the strength to “prove them all wrong,” but at what cost? We should never forget the pollution it produces and its wear and tear on our minds and bodies. It’s short-sighted to motivate yourself using anger as fuel.

  • Anger makes you feel out of control and doesn’t help you solve the problem. Those few minutes of anger can be very destructive, and it can ruin any of us. Though it is an emotion and thus necessary, it can be good only when we learn to control it ; otherwise, it isn’t worth it. It’s better to be relaxed, use our anger to solve problems, communicate with reasons, and not do things that we’ll regret later.

  • There are ways you can handle anger - either you can express it as you feel it and hurt yourself and others around you, OR you can suppress it, and maybe get yourself health issues, OR you can be calm and control your words and your breathing. So now, the question is, which anger do you want to choose?

But that’s just my take. Comment and share yours.
