Do you feel better now?

Do you feel better now?

  • There’s some guy at the traffic signal, and he is shouting at you for nothing and showed you the finger. What would you do? Would you cry? Or do you yell at him to return the favor? None of that would help you, so in this case, it’s better if you politely tell them, “I hope it made you feel better,” instead of letting anyone take away your peace.

  • It’s all about how you react to situations and whether or not you give away your peace. So, analyze what you do and what you say when you are angry, sad, or desperate. Why did you do that? Did you cry uncontrollably? Did you snap at others? Why? Is yelling your pattern? Are you overtired? Are you angry at unimportant things all the time?

  • When we allow our feelings to explode, we don’t solve the problem. Instead, we just feel good for a few minutes, then our guilt takes over, and we might realize that we could have handled it better. So, next time you lose yourself to your emotions, ask yourself, “Did that make me feel any better?”

But that’s just my take. Comment and share yours.
