Look before you leap

The only way to ensure that you don’t wind up with an unwelcome outcome is by thinking before you act. So, first, ask if what you’re about to do is helpful or necessary? Then, think and keep your life and decisions in order. Impulses of all kinds will come, and your job is to control them.
-
People act because of their emotions rather than reasoning. Some give up on their ego, while some let fear and desire fool them. So, steady your impulses and don’t let your emotions play you. Always think long-term because that’s how you make good life decisions that you won’t regret.

Don’t make a brief moment of pleasure give you a lifetime of pain. Ask yourself, who’s in control? The answer should be your reasoning and justice but not your weak emotions.
But that’s just my take. Comment and share yours.
