Pilot of Your Life

Close your eyes for a moment and imagine you’re at the controls of a plane – the plane being your life.
Now, as you open your eyes, ask yourself, ‘Am I really in the pilot’s seat?’
When you woke up this morning, what were your first thoughts?
Did you look outside, trying to gauge the weather, thinking, ‘Let’s see how the world is today, and I’ll act accordingly,’ or did you already have a clear flight path for yourself?
I’m not talking about your morning routine. I mean, did you chart out plans for today before you went to bed last night?
It’s easy to feel like you’re running on autopilot, with events just unfolding around you, reacting to them as they come.
But is that really living? Are you in control and living life, or is life just happening to you?
Are you the pilot of your life, waking up excited, ready to navigate through whatever comes your way, steering towards your goals and dreams?
Get one like it every morning.
