Yesterday, I was writing a blog on my website and I was about to hit ‘publish’ but there was one last thing to do, which was to choose the keyword.

That one word that pulls the whole idea into focus and helps people find your content.

Keywords are essential for search engines like Google to understand what your blog content is all about.

and that got me thinking.

What if we all have a personal keyword? Not for the internet, but for our lives.

Imagine a word, a keyword, that sums up who you are, what you love, or where you’re headed.

And that is the topic for today.

Think about this for a second. When I say ‘Mr. Beast,’ what pops into your head? Probably YouTube and all those fun videos, right?

And if I say ‘Joe Rogan,’ you might think about his podcast.

It makes me wonder, what word or phrase would I use to describe myself? What about you?

What’s your keyword?

Searching for our keyword is like going on a big adventure.

It’s not just about doing random things; it’s about finding out what you really love and what you don’t.

Mr. Beast and Joe Rogan didn’t become big names overnight. They worked on what they were passionate about for more than a decade.

You know, Joe Rogan was working for the UFC as an interviewer, he released comedy specials and hosted the game show Fear Factor, long before he started his podcasts.

These guys shows us how you can be known for one big thing, one keyword, if you really put your heart into it.

Now reflecting on everything I’ve done, from writing articles, joining various meetup groups, toastmasters, workout and running groups to practicing different martial arts, I’ve realized that these are not just hobbies.

They’re steps toward finding out what really matters to me.

And you know what, to be honest, I’m not even sure what my keyword is, yet.

Maybe it’s ‘curiosity’?

After all, it’s curiosity that keeps me exploring, asking questions, and diving into new adventures.

Key Takeaways

Finding our keyword is about discovering who we really are and who we want to become.

There’s this great quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson and I quote,

‘To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.’

Looking for our keyword helps us learn more about ourselves.

Each day, as we search for our keyword, we learn a bit more and get a bit closer to being our true selves.
