Prepare for the Worst

Prepare for the Worst

  • Prepare for the rainy day when the sun is still shining. Think of the worse things that can happen to you? Death of a loved one? Or maybe you lose your job? Or get hit by a natural disaster? What will you do? And now, think about things you will need if any of the worst things you imagined happened.

  • The warnings are all around you, so don’t refuse them and be defenseless against them. Save your assets, your relationships and protect yourself from difficult times. Invest in insurance and build your own safety net. A little planning is essential to withstand life-changing events.

  • Now that you’ve considered external events, you must look at internal storms too. Look at the impact of your emotions because sometimes, our irrational outbursts and passion are the reasons for our inner storm. And once you’re done analyzing yourself, prepare how you’ll handle your emotional eruption in the future and prepare how you’ll put your fire and passion to good use.

But that’s just my take. Comment and share yours.
