Win over your addictions.

Win over your addictions.

  • Addictions can have different forms, and we must give up on the destructive habits that we once considered good , like constantly checking emails, having coffee, scrolling through social media, gambling, getting addicted to sex or porn, continuously surfing the internet, playing video games for hours if not days, and binge-watching shows and eating mindlessly. It is awful when you lose your freedom to abstain and have dysfunctional emotional responses to everyday life situations.

  • Usually, things that are addictive deprive us of clarity, self-control, self-love , and confidence, and most of them are unsafe once these harmless indulgences become full-blown addictions.

  • The only way out is to create a new life, stick to it, and love it. Reclaim that freedom and don’t make these harmless habits run your life. Don’t let your addictive behavior replace your healthy self-care behavior. It’s always better to recover than regret, so take care of yourself.

But that’s just my take. Comment and share yours.
